TRANSCRIPT ARCHIVE

Transcript Archive

The transcript archive is a service the OpenLATCH Education Foundation provides to all schools that earn accreditation through the foundation. It is important to note that the transcript archive is not primarily a transcript service. All schools must develop, archive, and disseminate their own transcripts for their own students. We simply work alongside faculty groups to redundantly store the transcripts annually (in both digital and printed formats) so that in the event that a school closes, the alumni of that school have the assurance that the official records of their work will not be lost and can still be easily accessible. In the unfortunate event that a school does close, the alumni can request transcripts directly from the OpenLATCH Education Foundation.

Current directors of operating faculty colleges must submit printed and digital copies of all transcripts (including the ones that are "in process", since current students will still be accumulating credits) to the current Executive Director of the OpenLATCH Education Foundation. The digital versions of the transcripts can be emailed to the Executive Director as the terms progress. Printed versions of updated transcripts must be mailed to the director annually.

For more information about requesting transcripts, please email the current foundation director, whose email address can be found on the "Personnel & Contact Info" page.
